Built

Built was my first project of 2010, launched in December 2009 to get a few weeks head start. The idea behind built was to create a showcase gallery for all forms of work (design, development, art, and photography) that went beyond simply asking for a screenshot.

There are hundreds, if not thousands of galleries out there for every single niche you can think of – flash sites, css sites, pink sites, black sites, hand sketches, vector art, black and white photography, color photography, who still uses film? photography… you get the point.

Built put all that together but went a step further. I wanted to expose the ideas and thought process behind the submission, so in order to submit anything (which only requires registration), the submitter must first answer five (5) submission related questions about their work.
