Google Rolling Out Gigabit Internet

The big news making its way around the web today thanks to Google. In an announcement much more exciting to me than yesterdays news about Google Buzz, Google is preparing to test gigabit fiber internet for selected communities. It is an interesting move but one that many expected to eventually occur. Even Google themselves hinted at being a future ISP with its TISP April Fool’s Day joke.
